Flagship and SafeMedia Present "Sealing the Security Hole" Webinar
Boca Raton, Florida, March 20 — Is your network really safe from all attacks? Recent security breaches and catastrophes say you might not be!
Many companies in the United States are skimping on security just at a time when cybercriminals are stepping up their attacks, according to a new Internet security report released last week.
Cybercriminals are shifting their focus to newer methods, which include exploiting file sharing networks. In its 2010 Cyberthreat Forecast, Kaspersky Labs said that it expects an increase in mass botnet epidemics over P2P networks. "This method has been used to spread notorious threats such as TDSS, Conficker, Virut and botnets in general, as well as the first backdoor for Mac OS X," the researchers said.
So what's a company to do? Skimp on IT security protections and be at risk or blow its entire budget in order to protect itself? Most experts will tell you that it's far better to be safe than risk the aftermath of a cyberattack, not to mention the potential costs and damage to your system and your reputation among your customers.
Click here to hear a replay of a webinar sponsored by Flagship and SafeMedia about SafeMedia's exciting new SIPS (SafeMedia Intrusion Protection System). Learn how you can address the latest threats and attacks and make sure your IT network is protected from malware.

Flagship and Terremark Present "Migrate To the Cloud" Lunch and Learn Event
Miami, Florida, January 28 — On January 28th, Flagship Solutions Group joined Terremark in presenting a lunch and learn event about the advantages of migrating to cloud computing at Terremark's NAP of the Americas.
Mark Wyllie of Flagship discussed how cloud computing is a not-so-new concept that harks back to the old days of mainframe time sharing, but thanks to technology advances it is a new way for organizations to gain control of the costs, performance, and security of their data centers.
Mark defined cloud computing as "a proven technology that leverages the Internet and Virtualization to generate the computing power you need to run your business." Topics discussed included: how do you move from your traditional data center to the Cloud; what should you move; and how many organizations are adopting a "hybrid" approach.
Frank Varona of Terremark gave the attendees a presentation on Terremark and its facilities, followed by a tour of Terremark's world class data center.
